"Safi Spa Maiko" is a comprehensive wellness facility inside Seaside Hotel Maiko Villa Kobe in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. Its men-only sauna, supervised by Sauna King, features innovative amenities such as Japan's first sauna room with a bathtub and a single-temperature cold plunge bath. In addition, the large public bath "Luxury Bath," which is available to both men and women, is equipped with a self-löyly sauna. Throughout the entire facility, the baths and cold plunge baths use ultra-soft water from the Rokko mountain range, gentle on the skin, delivering the ultimate relaxation experience.
The latest sauna, equipped with EOS's Watermill Goliath, the first of its kind in western Japan. With Japan's first innovative structure featuring a loft and a bubble bath, you can enjoy a wide variety of sauna experiences, from the high-temperature loft area to a lukewarm bath. It also has an auto-löyly function, and aufguss events are held regularly. In an open space with a large TV, you can relax while enjoying conversation.
A quiet sauna room set at a subdued light level. A pleasant aroma drifts from the herb pot above the stove, allowing you to experience deep relaxation with all five senses. Self-löyly is available, so you can adjust the humidity and heat to your preference while immersing yourself in the changing sounds and steam. Ideal when you want to face yourself like in meditation and take your time enjoying perspiration.
An extremely cold single-temperature cold plunge bath set to a water temperature in the single digits. The deep water lets you cool your entire body powerfully while standing. Press a button and jets burst out from all directions, while a large volume of cold water pours down from above, delivering an intense sense of refreshment. You can even submerge yourself, fully enjoying an otherworldly cooldown while experiencing the smooth feel of the ultra-soft water from the Rokko mountain range all over your body.
A deep cold plunge bath set to a moderately cool temperature. Even those who do not like very cold water can sink in comfortably and take their time. The bubble function creates water flow, gently enveloping the body and helping you cool down. It is also ideal for alternating between this bath and the extremely cold bath next door. You can leisurely enjoy the skin-friendly, silky feel that only ultra-soft water can provide.
