About Arima Kaido Onsen Suzuran no Yu

Arima Kaido Onsen Suzuran no Yu is a day-use onsen facility located in Kita-ku, Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture. It sits on the Arima Kaido connecting Kobe and Arima Onsen, about 15 minutes by car from Sannomiya. The facility prides itself on two spring types: a weakly alkaline simple hot spring called Bihada no Yu that wells up from about 1,100 m underground, and Miyamizu, which is selected as one of Japan's 100 Famous Waters. One of Kobe's largest garden open-air baths alternates weekly between maple and bamboo areas, allowing visitors to enjoy seasonal scenery. The facility features an auto-löyly sauna, a Miyamizu mist steam sauna, and the forest sauna Jouan with a capacity of up to 33 people. Additional amenities include a Miyamizu-fed cold plunge bath, bedrock bath (ganbanyoku), creative dining, and MIGNON offering herbal baths, mugwort steam, and yoga.
