Hot Spring Information
Mori no Tachiyu
ZIKKAI SPA uses sodium-calcium chloride spring water that gushes from underground, flowing directly into the baths. The water gently adheres to the skin, keeping the body warm long after bathing. The open-air bath boasts one of the largest sizes in the Kansai region, creating an oasis-like atmosphere. There are areas where you can enjoy the freshly sprung water as it is. Combined with the mountain air, the freshness of the water stands out, allowing you to feel the true power of the hot spring.
Sauna & Cold Bath Information
Dry Sauna Neppugama
The high-temperature dry sauna features tiered benches in a space filled with the scent of wood, enveloping the entire body in solid heat. Equipped with a Sawo iki stove. The room temperature is around 90°C.
Mist Sauna Ganketsugama
Salt is also provided inside. The high-humidity air fills the room, gently warming the core of the body. By applying salt to the skin and letting it flow away with sweat, you can simultaneously care for your skin and promote perspiration. The soft heat and mist envelop the entire body, offering a 'gently steamed' sensation in contrast to the dry sauna.
Cold Bath
The cold plunge bath, located right next to the sauna, has a water temperature of 13°C. It is sufficiently deep and wide, making it ideal for alternating hot and cold baths with the sauna. After exiting the cold plunge bath, it is recommended to move to the bonfire area. The scent and sound of the bonfire, along with natural sounds like birdsong and the sound of the wind, will stimulate your senses.
