Aridagawa Onsen
A sodium chloride spring that bubbles up from underground. Commonly called the "hot water of heat," its salt content forms a thin film on the skin, so its moisturizing and heat-retaining effects last for a long time even after you get out of the bath. The water feels smooth, with such a rich mineral content that you can taste the saltiness. It warms you deeply from the core, and is expected to help relieve sensitivity to cold, muscle pain, and joint pain. In the large public bath, you can enjoy alternating baths between the 41-degree hot spring and the 28-degree cold spring source water, experiencing a unique bathing method that stimulates the autonomic nervous system and promotes metabolism.
