It is attached to the roadside station Hotaru Kaido Nishi-no-Ichi and offers a low-tonicity alkaline cold mineral spring known for its skin-beautifying properties, as well as the clean and refreshing Hotaru Sauna finished with natural wood. You can cool off with a cold plunge bath using the source spring and achieve a state of perfect relaxation while enjoying the mountain breeze on numerous chairs around the open-air bath. There are two types of baths, Mai no Yu and Hikari no Yu, which switch between men and women once a month, allowing you to enjoy different atmospheres inspired by fireflies.

The weak alkaline spring quality gently dissolves skin keratin, promoting skin metabolism and leading to smooth, beautiful skin. Although the source spring temperature is low, it is heated for use, characterized by its soft texture. There are two bathing areas, Mai no Yu and Hikari no Yu, which switch between men and women once a month. Each features a different design inspired by fireflies, with the chic Mai no Yu and the bright and open Hikari no Yu. The sauna's cold plunge bath also uses the source spring, allowing you to fully enjoy the blessings of the hot spring.

The high-temperature setting promotes sweating and warms you from the core. After the sauna, a cold plunge bath using the source spring and an outdoor air bath space where you can feel the mountain breeze await, offering a refreshing relaxation experience. Despite being attached to a roadside station, you can enjoy an authentic sauna experience.
Cold Bath
A luxurious cold plunge bath using the hot spring's source spring. The moderate coldness comfortably cools down your body heated in the sauna. The alkaline source spring is gentle on the skin, with a crisp coldness that also feels soft. The flow allows you to enter immediately after leaving the Hotaru Sauna, leading smoothly to relaxation. The smooth texture unique to the source spring is a distinctive feature.
