"Koka Onsen Yapponpon no Yu" is a day-use hot spring facility in Koka City, Shiga Prefecture. Its natural hot spring, a sodium bicarbonate cold mineral spring, has a silky feel and is gentle on the skin, making it extremely popular as a beautifying bath. The open-air rock bath with a sweeping scale and views of the mountains of Koka offers stunning scenery by day and a sky full of stars at night. The sauna uses rare kinoseki stone brought in from Finland, and you can relax and sweat while looking out at the lush greenery through the windows. The facility also features bedrock baths and private family baths made of Shigaraki ware.
