"Koka Onsen Yapponpon no Yu" is a day-use hot spring facility in Koka City, Shiga Prefecture. Located in a highland resort surrounded by untouched nature, it also offers accommodation at the adjacent hotel. Its natural hot spring, a sodium bicarbonate cold mineral spring, has a silky feel and is gentle on the skin, making it extremely popular as a beautifying bath. The open-air rock bath with a sweeping scale and views of the mountains of Koka offers stunning scenery by day and a sky full of stars at night. The sauna uses rare kinoseki stone brought in from Finland, and you can relax and sweat while looking out at the lush greenery through the windows. A unique natural hot spring of sodium bicarbonate cold mineral water. Its silky, smooth, and exceptionally soft texture is its defining feature, and after bathing your skin feels smooth and supple, which is why it is known as a beautifying bath. The spacious open-air rock bath includes the men's bath, Shiosono no Yu, and the women's bath, Takahata no Yu, allowing guests to enjoy a luxurious hot spring experience while admiring the mountains of Koka by day and a sky full of stars at night.

SaunaSAUNA

01SAUNA

Finnish Sauna with Kinoseki Stone

Men'sWomen's

A dry sauna that uses the rare natural stone kinoseki, brought from Finland, as sauna stones. The pleasant heat radiating from the heated stones, together with negative ions, envelops the body and gently but thoroughly promotes deep sweating. The sauna room has windows, allowing you to spend a deeply soothing time while taking in the rich nature and mountain scenery of Koka during the day.

Cold BathCOLD BATH

01COLD BATH

Cold Bath

Men'sWomen's

A cold plunge bath located just outside the sauna room. It is kept at a mild temperature that puts less strain on the body, so even sauna beginners and people who dislike very cold water can cool down slowly and comfortably. It is spacious enough to stretch out your arms and legs and relax. Go through the door right next to it and you will find the open-air outdoor air bath area, where you can unwind while feeling the pleasant breeze of nature.
