About Saplus
Saplus is a hot spring facility in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture. Its biggest draw is its luxurious location, with views of the seasonal scenery of the Kinugawa River flowing right beside it and the SL steam locomotive. Guests can work up a comfortable sweat in an authentic Finnish sauna equipped with the same type of stove used at a famous sauna mecca in Ueno, Tokyo, as well as a wood-fired sauna where the flickering flames create a serene atmosphere. After the sauna, a refreshing outdoor air bath while enjoying the grand scenery and feeling the natural breeze brings pure bliss. The open-air baths using natural hot spring water and the daily changing indoor baths gently and deeply soothe the body from within.

A spacious bathing area featuring an open-air bath with an excellent sense of openness, where you can look out over the spectacular Kinugawa view right in front of you and, if the timing is right, watch the powerful SL steam locomotive pass by, along with a large indoor bath where you can enjoy a different bath additive each day. Time spent soaking in the natural spring water while embraced by the seasonal scenery woven by Nikko's great nature is exceptional. You can spend a soothing moment of relaxation, listening to the murmur of the river and letting your mind unwind.

Men's Sauna
An authentic sauna equipped with both a wood stove and an electric stove. You can enjoy the soft heat and flickering flames unique to a wood stove, as well as the powerful heat of an electric stove, at your own pace. A special sauna experience awaits, with self-löyly and regularly held aufguss events, allowing you to refresh both body and mind while feeling the nature of Kinugawa.
Women's Sauna
A luxurious space where you can gaze out through the large sauna-room windows at the magnificent scenery of Kinugawa and enjoy the beauty of the seasons like a painting. Wrapped in the pleasant scent of hinoki wood that fills the room, you can sink into the feeling of taking a forest bath. With aroma löyly using Futaarasan Reisen, you can slowly work up a sweat and fully enjoy detoxifying both body and mind.

Cold Plunge Bath
A cold plunge bath that gently cools down your body after you have fully warmed up in the sauna. Its pleasant chill tightens the whole body and further enhances the refreshing feeling after the sauna. After the cold plunge bath, there is a smooth flow to the outdoor air bath space where you can feel the natural breeze of Kinugawa, leading you into a blissful state of relaxation.
