Sauna & Cold Bath Information
Aomori Nebuta Sauna
Japan's first festival-themed concept sauna. Inside the fragrant Aomori Hiba wood room, the 'Dragon King' Nebuta created by the 7th Nebuta Master, Hiroo Takenami, is enshrined. Festival music plays, and at the climax, the automatic löyly activates, bringing a heat reminiscent of the Nebuta Festival. The sauna mats feature the Tsugaru clan crest, and the 12-minute timer is designed with the Haneto dancer motif, allowing you to immerse yourself in the world of the Aomori Nebuta Festival down to the details. Equipped with a heater from the world-renowned Finnish sauna brand HARVIA.
Shakkoi Cold Plunge Bath
The cold plunge bath named 'Shakkoi,' meaning 'cold' in the Aomori dialect. It uses pumped-up underground water, and the clear water pleasantly permeates the skin. Located right in front of the sauna, you can cool down while enjoying the seasonal scenery. The crisp cold underground water quickly tightens the body heated by the festival's excitement.
