Natural Hot Spring Dandan no Yu Onyado Nono Matsue is a hot spring accommodation facility in Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture, part of the Dormy Inn chain. This Japanese-modern hotel opened in April 2022, featuring 199 rooms with tatami flooring, providing a space where guests can relax barefoot. The top floor, the 11th floor, houses a large natural hot spring bath with its own source, offering an open-air bath overlooking Lake Shinji and a high-temperature sauna for a perfect totonou experience. The combination of a dry sauna with self-löyly and a cold plunge bath with a chiller is comfortable, and guests can enjoy a variety of baths, including pot baths and waterfall showers. The breakfast buffet offers local Shimane dishes such as Wariko Soba and Seafood Rice Bowl, and complimentary services like Yonaki Soba and post-bath ice cream are also available. It is about a 12-minute walk from JR Matsue Station, making it an ideal base for sightseeing around Matsue Castle and Lake Shinji.

Dandan no Yu

A natural hot spring with its own source, gushing from 1,200 meters underground. The source temperature is about 66.8°C, and the mildly alkaline spring quality gently envelops the skin. It contains sulfates and chlorides, providing high heat retention, allowing the warmth to linger in your body even after bathing. The indoor bath offers a spacious tub to enjoy the hot spring leisurely, and the open-air bath allows for a liberating bath while enjoying the view of Lake Shinji. There are two pot baths, offering a private space to enjoy the blessings of the source. It has benefits such as beautifying the skin, recovering from fatigue, post-illness recovery, and promoting health, gently healing the body tired from sightseeing or work. From the large bath on the 11th floor, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Matsue cityscape and Lake Shinji, providing a luxurious space to soak in the hot spring while enjoying the natural beauty of Shimane.
