"Grand Sauna Hiroshima" is a men-only sauna facility with an attached capsule hotel, located in the heart of the entertainment district in Yagenbori, Naka Ward, Hiroshima City. It features three types of saunas, including a large dry sauna with automatic löyly every 30 minutes, a dense low-temperature steam sauna, and a salt sauna. It also has multiple cold water baths at different temperatures, and on the newly renovated rooftop garden, you can enjoy an ultimate outdoor bathing session while gazing up at the open sky.
This authentic large high-temperature sauna features spacious three-tier seating. Automatic löyly every 30 minutes helps keep the humidity at a comfortable level, so no matter where you sit in the room, you can enjoy pleasantly intense heat and abundant sweating. With two TVs installed on either side of the stove, the spacious interior lets you face the heat at your own pace and in your preferred style.
This low-temperature steam sauna is filled with dense warm vapor that nearly obscures your view. Even at a mild temperature, the high-density mist envelops your body and gradually brings out a heavy sweat from your pores. It offers a high level of relaxation and can be enjoyed at ease without feeling stifled, making it ideal for easing both body and mind.
This salt sauna is located in the open rooftop garden area on the 8th floor. By applying salt all over your body before entering, you can enhance perspiration through the slow, low-temperature heat, tighten your skin, and wash away impurities from your pores. Your skin is left silky smooth, making it the perfect lead-in to cooling down after the sauna.
This crisp, cold bath is installed in the 7th-floor public bath area. The clear cold water, thoroughly controlled by a chiller, constantly overflows, instantly and powerfully tightening your body after sauna use. By alternating between this bath and the milder bath next to it, you can enjoy an even deeper cooldown.
This relatively mild cold water bath is located in the 7th-floor public bath area. It is easy to enter even for those who are not fond of cold baths, and after tightening your body in the 16°C cold water bath, you can slowly soak in this milder bath for a wonderfully gentle and mellow cooldown.
