Hondani Onsen
A natural hot spring known as one of Iyo's Three Great Hot Springs, alongside Dogo Onsen and Nibukawa Onsen. It is a famous historic spring said to have been visited by Emperor Shomu and Emperor Saimei in ancient times. This alkaline simple hot spring is colorless, clear, and has a smooth feel on the skin, and it is loved as a bijin no yu, or beauty bath, that leaves the skin feeling silky after bathing. Visitors can enjoy a variety of baths, including wood-toned bathing areas and a calm stone bath with a serene atmosphere.
