Minowa Onsen Nagata no Yu in Minowa, Nagano Prefecture, is a day-use hot spring facility known for its beautifying, skin-smoothing waters. In addition to spacious indoor baths and an open-air bath, it features a dry sauna set to about 92-94°C and a groundwater-fed cold plunge bath kept at about 16-17°C. The layout makes it easy to move from the sauna to the cold plunge and then to the outdoor relaxation area, and its excellent cost performance — available for a one-coin fee — is another attraction.
