Located on the 5th floor of Orion Hotel Motobu Resort & Spa, this natural hot spring facility offers spectacular views. The spring is sourced from about 1,500 m underground, drawn from geological strata over 200 million years old (Motobu Onsen Churaumi no Yu), and its high salt concentration warms the body from the core. The large public baths alternate daily between men and women, with the room that has a dry sauna and the room that has a mist sauna switching each day. In particular, the view of Emerald Beach and Ie Island through the small window of the dry sauna is breathtaking. The dry-sauna side also has a cold plunge bath, and the semi-open-air outdoor air-bathing area where you can feel the resort’s sea breeze is exceptionally pleasant.
