Three types of indoor baths all free-flowing from the source, with a source-fed cold plunge bath and silky skin-beautifying water

Nagasaki Hasami Town

Hasami Onsen Tojiro is a day-use hot spring facility in Hasami, Higashisonogi District, Nagasaki Prefecture. Located within the multi-purpose area called Minami no Denen, it is surrounded by pastoral fields and a mountain stream. All three types of indoor baths are supplied 100% from the Hazami Onsen source with free-flowing water. The spring is a bicarbonate spring, and the facility also offers a high-concentration carbonated spring nicknamed 'Heart Bath' that warms you gently in lukewarm water. Its slightly viscous, skin-softening water has an exceptional feel. Even the cold spring used for the sauna is fed directly from the source, a luxurious design that highlights the quality of alternating hot-and-cold bathing. In the open-air baths you can enjoy the sound of the river and a star-filled night sky.

The spring is called Hazami Onsen. It is a bicarbonate spring notable for its slightly viscous, silky feel that leaves skin smooth. All three indoor baths are provided 100% from the source with no added water, no reheating, and no circulation. In the outdoor baths you can enjoy the river's murmur by day and a star-filled sky by night. The high-concentration carbonated spring, enjoyed by soaking at a lukewarm temperature, is nicknamed 'Heart Bath' and is known for its strong circulation-promoting effects. It is also traditionally regarded as beneficial for conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and atopic dermatitis.

High-concentration carbonated spring

TypeSpecialty Bath

When you sink into the mildly warm water, fine carbonic gas gently dilates blood vessels, warming you slowly from the core. Although it is a low-temperature bath, you can bathe for a long time, and your body will feel remarkably light afterward. Combined with the source-fed natural hot spring baths, you can select the water best suited to your needs.
