A day-use bathing facility at the heart of Yunogo Onsen in Mimasaka City. It is a historic hot spring said to have been discovered when the monk Ennin saw a heron healing its injuries there, and it has long been loved since the Meiji period as a place for therapeutic stays. The two baths, "Dynamic Bath," with four open-air tubs including a kettle-style bath and a geyser, and "Quiet Bath," with a cave bath, alternate weekly for men and women, so every visit offers a different experience. The dry sauna is fully equipped with automatic löyly, and the hinoki cold plunge bath circulates the water yet stays thoroughly cold, while relaxing on the outdoor air bench takes totonou to the next level.
The main indoor bath filled with Yunogo Onsen's sodium-calcium chloride spring water. It has a smooth feel and warms the body deeply and gently.
An electric dry sauna with a convection stove and automatic löyly. The humidity control is superb, the perceived temperature is properly hot, and the bursts of heat bring on a full sweat all at once. It also has L-shaped two-tier benches and sauna mats.
