SuperSentoYamanoyu

Find your own state of perfect relaxation with a hybrid sauna and reservation-only wood-fired sauna

Ibaraki Mito City

"Super Sento Yamanoyu" is a day-use bathing facility in Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Its two distinct areas, one with a Japanese-style atmosphere and the other with a Western-style atmosphere, are alternated daily, and each comes equipped with its own unique sauna. The main far-infrared sauna uses a hybrid stove powered by gas and electricity, creating a powerful heat that envelops the entire body. In addition, the reservation-only "Maki Sauna," where you can experience a full-scale wood-fired stove, allows for a custom steam bath with self-löyly. A crisp, refreshing cold plunge bath and outdoor air bathing in the renovated open relaxation space, Dandan Terrace, provide a soothing break from everyday life.
