AquarerNagaoka

A wellness resort where you can enjoy a Finland sauna and a hot spring cold water bath

Niigata Nagaoka City

"Aquarer Nagaoka" is a hot spring resort in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, with lodging and fitness facilities. Its biggest feature is the newly opened Finland sauna, added in February 2024, where men and women can enjoy authentic auto löyly together while wearing swimsuits. The sauna room is set at 90 degrees, and the regular bursts of steam create a powerful sweat. The adjoining cold water bath, filled with hot spring water, is kept at 18 degrees and gently tones the body with its natural feel on the skin. The separate baths for men and women also have a dry sauna and a cold water bath, making this a versatile facility where you can enjoy anything from a refreshing post-workout break to a full totonou experience.
