RefreshSpaQuad

Unwind your mind and body in the Kamakura-inspired handjunjuk and high-concentration carbonated spring

Akita Yokote City

"Refresh Spa Quad" is an urban spa facility inside the hotel Quad Inn yokote in Yokote, Akita Prefecture. Its biggest highlight is the dome-shaped handjunjuk that was modeled after Yokote's traditional Kamakura festival. The interior, which incorporates Korean-style thermal therapy, uses far-infrared effects to warm you gradually from the core of your body. It also offers well-equipped facilities such as a high-concentration carbonated spring, introduced for the first time in Akita Prefecture, and baths using gentle, fully softened water. There is also a Korean-style low-temperature sauna called jimjilbang available for an additional fee, making it a soothing spot near Yokote Station where both overnight guests and day visitors can relax all day long.

Hot Spring & Bath Information

High-Concentration Carbonated Spring

TypeArtificial Hot Spring

An artificial carbonated spring that was introduced early in Akita Prefecture. Carbon dioxide dissolved in the water is absorbed through the skin, expanding blood vessels and improving circulation. Because the temperature is kept on the cooler side, you can enjoy a long, relaxing soak without putting strain on your body. It is effective for relieving fatigue and promoting health.
