MugwortVillage(YomoginoSato)

A healing retreat with a premium cold plunge bath from a 100 Famous Waters spring and two types of saunas

Kagoshima Shibushi City

Mugwort Village (Yomogi no Sato) is a nature-rich day-use bathing facility in Shibushi, Kagoshima Prefecture. The bathing area features a modern design of concrete and stone and offers two types of saunas, a dry sauna and a mist sauna. Its biggest attraction is the cold plunge bath fed directly by water from the Fugendo Spring Source, selected as one of the Heisei-era 100 Famous Waters. Famous water pours lavishly from a full-wall waterfall into the plunge bath, allowing guests to enjoy clear, soft water over their entire body. The hot spring facilities use Togol mineral stone to create an artificial hot spring, and guests can refresh in a variety of baths including jet baths and an electric bath.
