OujibaruOnsenHealthVillage

A premium drinkable cold plunge bath abundantly fed by Kirishima natural fissure water

Miyazaki Takaharu Town

Oujibaru Onsen Health Village, located in Takaharu, the legendary landing place of the Tenson Korin myth, is a retro day-use hot spring facility surrounded by rich nature. The dry sauna, which carries a faint scent of the hot spring minerals, uses a far-infrared heater and abundant humidity to produce a waterfall of sweat. What stands out in particular is the cold plunge bath. It is continuously fed from the foothills of Mt. Kirishima by the natural fissure water called Kirishima Rekkashui, so you can enjoy an exquisitely cold, crisp feel on the skin. This natural water is also drinkable. Together with the direct-flowing iron-rich bicarbonate spring, the facility offers an outstanding, almost hidden-gem level sauna experience.
