Kintaikyo Onsen
A scenic natural hot spring with views of both Kintaikyo Bridge and Iwakuni Castle. The spring quality is a simple weak radioactive cold mineral spring, effective for neuralgia and sensitivity to cold. From the daily alternating women’s bath, Asagiri no Yu, you can look down on Kintaikyo Bridge, while from Yugiri no Yu you can see Iwakuni Castle floating atop the mountain. With a variety of bath types including a standing bath, walking bath, and cypress bath, you can spend an exquisite time accompanied by the illuminated night scenery.
