"Ibusuki Hakusuikan" is a long-established onsen ryokan in Ibusuki City, Kagoshima Prefecture. It boasts a vast site of 50,000 tsubo, and its biggest highlight is the 1,000-tsubo public bath, Genroku Bath, which recreates an Edo-period sento. Guests can also experience Ibusuki’s famous sand bath on the premises, while the natural hot spring, rich in metasilicic acid, gently envelops the skin. Visitors can enjoy a variety of bathing spaces full of history and culture, including the Ukiyo Bath, whose walls are covered with ukiyo-e, and the Edo Zakuro Bath, which recreates an Edo-period steam bath.
