TypeNatural Hot Spring
Sodium bicarbonate spring water from the inn’s private source is used free-flowing in Kusu-yudono and Kiku-yudono. Cherished as a beauty hot spring for its smooth texture and lasting moisturized feeling, it is expected to be effective for rheumatoid diseases and chronic skin conditions. Kusu-yudono offers a large open-air bath watched over by a 100-year-old kusu tree, along with an indoor bath built with hinoki latticework and a gassho-zukuri style roof. Kiku-yudono features a garden open-air bath with stone pagodas, plus indoor baths with a bubble bath and a mist bath, and the men’s and women’s baths alternate daily so guests can enjoy different atmospheres.
