Guests can enjoy a wide variety of bathing experiences, from a mixed open-air bath where the murmuring of the river can be heard up close, to a mystical cave bath, as well as Kurokawa’s only steam room and a mist sauna. The free-flowing natural spring water is of excellent quality, with high skin-beautifying benefits, and deeply relaxes both body and mind. The rooms, a total of 26 in the main building, new building, and detached annex, each offer a different atmosphere. Together with rustic kaiseki cuisine made with seasonal local ingredients, guests can spend a luxurious moment embraced by the vast nature of Aso.
