"Wakanoura Onsen MANPA RESORT" is an adults-only onsen ryokan built at the tip of scenic Shin-Wakaura in Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture, an area praised as Japan's number one seaside beauty spot. The hot spring is a luxurious blend of two superb sources, Fuji no Mori Fudo Onsen and Wakayama Marina City Hot Spring, creating a sodium chloride cold mineral spring. In the large public bath and Wakanoura's only open-air bath, Man'yo no Yu, guests can enjoy a blissful soak while taking in the beautiful night views of Wakayama Marina City across the bay and the shimmering lights of fishing boats, all while savoring exceptionally smooth water that leaves the skin soft and does not cool down quickly. The facility also features two private baths, with barrier-free access and modern design.
An indoor bath with a panoramic view of Wakanoura Bay through the large windows, and Wakanoura's only open-air bath where you can feel the pleasant sea breeze. The hot spring is a luxurious blend of Fuji no Mori Fudo Onsen and Wakayama Marina City Hot Spring, with smooth, slightly cloudy yellowish water. It offers excellent heat retention and skin-beautifying effects, and is also highly effective for relieving chills.
A luxurious private onsen bath on the second floor. There are two types: the barrier-free Aono Yu and the stylish, modern-style Akane no Yu, both offering a rich chloride cold mineral spring.
