About Yunoyado Shoei

"Yunoyado Shoei" is a hot spring inn in Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, with a full-sized public bath that is steeped in onsen atmosphere. At the large public bath, Sei no Yu, men and women alternate daily, and you can enjoy two distinct baths: Ki no Yu, lavishly finished with Hida Takayama cypress, and Ishi no Yu, which uses Fujikawaguchiko lava stone said to have far-infrared effects. Both baths feature a full-fledged dry sauna set at 90 degrees to 100 degrees, a mellow cold plunge bath filled with natural well water drawn up from underground, and a comfortable outdoor air-cooling space beside the open-air bath, creating an excellent sauna flow that sauna enthusiasts love.
