About Kaike Grand Hotel Tensui

"Kaike Grand Hotel Tensui" is a large hot spring resort hotel located in Kaike Onsen in Yonago, Tottori Prefecture. Right in front of it stretch the beautiful Yumigahama beach and the white sands and green pines of the Sea of Japan. It is extremely rare even within Kaike Onsen, and together with its sister hotel KASUI-TEI, it uniquely owns its own private hot spring source, Hoshonoizumi. Guests can fully enjoy the superb ocean views and high-quality hot spring water from the spacious and open public bath Nihonkai, as well as the open-air bath where they can feel the sea breeze to the sound of waves crashing just in front of them as background music. Both men and women are also equipped with dry saunas in the public bath area, gently easing away the fatigue of travel from both body and mind.

This rare private hot spring source, dug independently together with the sister hotel KASUI-TEI, is used exclusively here and is unavailable at other hotels. Its sodium-calcium chloride spring water, rich in sea minerals, is said to be a source of beauty and health, and offers excellent heat retention and skin-beautifying benefits. From the spacious public bath Nihonkai and the open-air bath, you can listen to the gentle waves and feel the sea breeze while spending an elegant and deeply warming moment for both body and mind.

A dry sauna available for both men and women in the public bath area Nihonkai. A full-fledged electric convection heater with sauna stones releases comfortable heat and promotes blood circulation throughout the body. It is a space where you can quietly and thoroughly enjoy invigorating sweat-drenched detox and refreshment while imagining the calm, magnificent scenery of the Sea of Japan spread out before you. *There is no cold plunge bath.
