Known as Japan’s oldest hot spring, Kinsen is a golden-colored spring rich in iron and salt drawn from Gokuraku-sensengen. A colorless, transparent private spring in the spacious indoor baths of the large public bath, perfect for a slow soak. It is characterized by a mild, gentle alkaline feel and gradually sinks into the skin as if smoothly adhering to it. Because it does not leave you feeling overly tired from prolonged bathing, it is ideal for long soaks. By alternating it with the Kinsen open-air bath, unique to Arima, you can enjoy the luxurious contrast between two different spring qualities and even greater skin-beautifying effects.
