"Kaike Shogetsu" is a high-quality hot spring ryokan with just 19 rooms, nestled in Kaike Onsen in Yonago City, Tottori Prefecture. From the panoramic large bath and open-air bath, Umi no Yu, on the top floor at 27 m above ground, you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama overlooking the Sea of Japan, as if floating on the ocean itself. In addition to the atmospheric large bath, guests can indulge in the luxurious Kaike Onsen, a chloride spring famed as a skin-beautifying hot spring, in private, with four different detached private open-air baths and guest rooms with open-air baths fed by natural hot spring water. This is a warm, sincerely hospitable inn.

Kaike Onsen

Natural hot spring water enjoyed at the spectacular large bath, Umi no Yu, located 27 m above ground on the top floor. This chloride spring contains abundant salt, a blessing of the sea, and is renowned as a skin-beautifying hot spring with excellent heat-retaining and moisturizing effects, while also leaving the skin smooth. Soaking in the open-air bath while listening to the gentle sound of the waves and feeling the sea breeze offers an overwhelming sense of openness, as if you were melting into and floating upon the vast expanse of the Sea of Japan.
