Large Bath and Garden Bath

A large bath for men and women, and the historic open-air bath adjacent to it, Garden Bath, which was the first open-air bath ever built in Zao Onsen. Guests can enjoy fresh, 100% free-flowing strongly acidic milky-white spring water with no added water, no heating, no circulation, and no disinfection. The rich sulfur-scented water leaves the skin smooth, warms the body to the core, and promotes circulation. While taking in the seasonal scenery of the garden, you can fully enjoy Zao's renowned hot spring.
