About Nakanobo Zuiun

"Nakanobo Zuiun" is a long-established and prestigious inn in the heart of Arima Onsen, with a history stretching back to the Meiji era. As an adults-only retreat that restricts entry to guests under junior high school age, it preserves a quiet, private, and refined atmosphere. The inn’s greatest appeal is the chance to fully enjoy Arima’s famed healing waters, Kinsen and Ginsen. The two distinctive public baths, Zuisen and Soosen, operate on a gender-swapping basis, and each offers an open-air bath and indoor bath filled with the rich reddish-brown Kinsen. In addition, each bath area is equipped with a medium-low-temperature dry sauna that lets you work up a deep, comfortable sweat at your own pace, along with a pleasantly cool one-person cold plunge bath. Soosen also features a moist, soothing mist sauna. Furthermore, the private open-air baths, available free of charge and secured with an interior lock, let you enjoy clear Ginsen (radon spring) in complete privacy, offering the ultimate bath-hopping experience.

Hot SpringONSEN

Arima Onsen Kinsen (public baths)

The signature Kinsen of Arima Onsen, used in the indoor and open-air baths of the Zuisen and Soosen public bath areas. This strong salt spring is extremely rich in iron and salt, and turns reddish-brown when exposed to air. It offers excellent heat retention and moisturizing effects, warming the body through to the core and promoting circulation.

Arima Onsen Ginsen (private open-air bath)

Clear, transparent, and smooth Ginsen (radon spring) poured into the private open-air baths available for exclusive use. As a radioactive spring, it is expected to help activate metabolism, boost immunity, and relieve fatigue. Enjoy an exceptional private hot spring experience while feeling the calm atmosphere.
