From the open-air bath to the private baths, all filled with Golden Spring water. A long-established ryokan wrapped in tradition and hot spring charm

Gunma Shibukawa City

"Moriaki Ryokan Ikaho Onsen" is a historic long-established inn in Shibukawa City, Gunma Prefecture, founded in 1868, the first year of the Meiji era. Conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from the Ikaho Stone Steps Street, it is a charming inn that was once beloved by the poet Noguchi Ujo. The ryokan's greatest pride is that all of its baths, including the open-air bath Ujo no Yu, the large public bath Jizo no Yu, the private baths, and the guest rooms with onsen, use the famous Ikaho Golden Spring water as free-flowing natural hot spring water. The baths are drained and thoroughly cleaned every day, allowing guests to fully savor a fresh, luxurious, top-quality hot spring experience at all times.
