"Onoe Onsen Ryokan Benikyu" is a hot spring ryokan in Nagahama, Shiga Prefecture, where every room has a semi-open-air bath fed by hot spring water. All guest rooms are equipped with a massage chair and a semi-open-air hot spring bath overlooking Oku-Biwa Lake. The large public bath features an indoor bath and an open-air bath fed by Onoe Onsen, known as the bath of beautiful skin, and there is also a dry sauna for overnight guests only. Day-use bathing is available only with a meal plan, and the facility is also equipped with a terrace foot bath and a rock bath. Guests can savor a refined private healing stay while watching the beautiful sunset over Lake Biwa.

The large public bath has an indoor bath and an open-air bath, allowing you to enjoy a luxurious soak while gazing out over a panoramic view of Oku-Biwa Lake. The smooth, silky water leaves your skin feeling supple, and the pleasant warmth lingers after you get out. In the semi-open-air baths in the guest rooms, you can have the heated 100% source spring all to yourself.
A compact dry sauna located next to the large public bath. The wooden benches gently warm your body. In the calm atmosphere of the quiet interior, with no TV, you can work up a good sweat and take time to reflect. For safety reasons, available hours are limited, so using it during a quieter time is recommended.
