Hot Spring & Bath Information

Bath

TypeArtificial Hot Spring

A carbonated-calcium artificial hot spring large bath made with giant limestone-forming raw stones from Futamata Radium Onsen, a famed hot spring in Hokkaido boasting Japan's only special spring quality. The stylish tub lets you stretch out your arms and legs, while beneficial minerals that greatly enhance bathing effects (over 95% calcium carbonate) dissolve into the water and strongly promote circulation. It helps prevent you from cooling down after bathing, keeps your body warm for a long time, and gently loosens the tension of travel.

A compact high-temperature dry sauna room tucked away inside the large bath, with a maximum capacity of around 3 guests. Its two-tier bench has a pleasant wooden aroma, and because there is no TV and the environment is quiet, you can enjoy an immersive experience much like a private sauna, almost as if you had the place to yourself. The steady heat of around 90 degrees encourages rich perspiration, washing away the fatigue of work and travel from the day.

A clean, square cold plunge bath located directly in front of the sauna room. The water is very clear and is not affected much by the outside temperature, becoming especially sharp and cold in winter and early spring, instantly cooling down your warmed body. It is also deep enough, and together with the excellent flow from the sauna room, it delivers the crisp, satisfying feeling that only a hotel large bath in the city can offer.
