OMO7 Kochi by Hoshino Resorts is a hotel where you can experience Kochi’s lively okyaku culture, with the theme “Let’s celebrate in style—come on, let’s enjoy the night!” Its main bathhouse, Tosano-yu, features an indoor bath adorned with colorful furafu banner murals, an open-air bath that evokes the natural beauty of Tosa, and a sauna with automatic löyly. After your bath, refresh yourself with drinks made with citrus and ginger. Every evening, staff members take on the role of dancers for the Yosakoi Celebration Live, offering a full taste of Kochi’s distinctive energy and relaxation.

Tosano-yu
The indoor bath at Tosano-yu, the main bathhouse, is striking for its dynamic mural inspired by Kochi’s traditional celebratory banners, known as furafu. Soaking in the bath surrounded by vivid colors is an experience unique to Kochi. The open-air bath is landscaped with greenery inspired by Tosa’s mountains and original countryside scenery, where you can enjoy a peaceful soak in the open air. The water feels gentle on the skin and helps you let go of the day’s fatigue. At night, the illuminated garden creates a dreamlike atmosphere, offering a different charm from the daytime.

Automatic Löyly Sauna
The sauna adjoining the main bathhouse is known for its automatic löyly, which takes place every 20 minutes. Each time water pours over the stones, soothing steam and heat fill the room, quickly bringing on a sweat. The room is new and immaculate, with a woodsy aroma that adds to the relaxing atmosphere. The temperature is kept at around 85°C (185°F), offering a comfortable balance that appeals to everyone from first-time sauna-goers to enthusiasts. The automatic löyly maintains a moderate level of humidity, making it easier to breathe as you sit with the heat and warm up thoroughly from within.

The outdoor cold plunge is spacious and thoughtfully designed, reflecting Hoshino Resorts’ attention to detail. It is large enough for several people to soak comfortably at once, allowing you to relax without worrying about those around you. The water is kept at around 15–18°C (59–64°F), and the cold pulls the body taut after the heat of the automatic löyly. A garden evoking the natural landscapes of Tosa stretches out before you, making it a pleasure to gaze at the greenery as you soak. The plunge is also deep enough to cool your whole body effectively.
