A public bath nestled in the deep, natural setting of Nikko. You can fully enjoy freshly drawn natural sulfur spring water, abundantly brought in from Nikko Yumoto. Mineral-rich bath deposits settle at the bottom of the tub, and the water changes into a beautiful milky white when exposed to the air, making it a renowned spring. From the large window of the indoor bath, the rich forest of Oku-Nikko spreads out before you, while the soft water wraps your tired body and brings deep relaxation to both mind and body.

Open-Air Bath

An open-air bath of natural sulfur spring water, arranged to blend seamlessly into a forest of white birch and mizunara oak. You can luxuriously enjoy the milky-white old spring water from the Nikko Yumoto source as it flows continuously from the spring, while feeling the pleasant breeze. At night, the surrounding trees are gently lit up, creating a fantastical atmosphere. You can enjoy a blissful bathing experience that warms you from the core as you take in the sounds of nature and the songs of birds with all five senses.
