About Hirayama Onsen Ryokan Zenya

"Hirayama Onsen Ryokan Zenya" is a hot spring ryokan in the Hirayama Onsen area of Yamaga, Kumamoto Prefecture. Guests can enjoy the silky, lotion-like "beautiful skin bath" with 100% free-flowing natural hot spring water, said to have cured Lord Kato Kiyomasa's heat rash. The public bath is equipped with a mist sauna that makes use of natural steam, offering a gentle sweating experience. The 10 rooms are modern Japanese-Western style rooms, allowing guests to spend a luxurious time unwinding body and mind in quiet comfort. There are also three types of carefully designed private baths, making private bathing another major attraction. Together with authentic Japanese cuisine prepared by a chef trained at renowned restaurants, it promises an unforgettable stay.

Bath

The hot spring source of Hirayama Onsen, famed as a "beautiful skin bath," is used as 100% free-flowing natural hot spring water with no added water or reheating. It boasts a high alkalinity of pH 9.57 and is characterized by a silky, lotion-like feel on the skin. After bathing, the skin is said to become smooth and soft, and the spring has long been cherished as a place for therapeutic bathing. In the open-air bath and spacious public bath, you can fully savor the benefits of this fresh, abundant hot spring water.

Men'sWomen's

A mist sauna that uses natural steam rising from the abundant hot spring source of Hirayama Onsen. Unlike a high-temperature dry sauna, the warm steam gently envelops the whole body and warms you steadily from the core. The mist, rich in hot spring minerals, may also help moisturize the skin, allowing you to relax while slowly working up a sweat.
