About Amanohashidate Onsen Amanohashidate Hotel

"Amanohashidate Onsen Amanohashidate Hotel" is a scenic hot spring hotel in Miyazu, Kyoto Prefecture. It features the panoramic large bath Kamigami no Yuyu, which offers a front-row view of Amanohashidate, one of Japan's Three Great Scenic Views. Its natural hot spring, a weakly radioactive sodium chloride spring, gently warms both body and mind. The gender-swapped baths are equipped with two types of sauna: a bona sauna using rock salt and loess, and an authentic Finnish sauna where you can enjoy self-löyly. With a panoramic open-air bath, a free-flowing source tsubo bath, and a foot bath, it offers a special stay where you can relax while taking in the panoramic view of Miyazu Bay.

Hot SpringONSEN

Amanohashidate Onsen

A natural hot spring from the hotel's own source, enjoyed in a bath space inspired by mythology. This weakly radioactive sodium chloride spring is rich in salt, has a pleasant texture, and is highly effective at retaining warmth, leaving you with a lasting feeling of being loosened from deep within. You can enjoy bathing in the panoramic open-air bath with Amanohashidate directly before you, or in the luxurious source-fed tsubo bath.

SaunaSAUNA

01SAUNA

Ama no Iwato Sauna

Men'sWomen's

A bona sauna with heaters built into the space beneath the indoor benches. The far-infrared effects of the rock salt and loess covering the walls generate a gentle radiant heat that slowly penetrates deep into the body. Its soft warmth makes it easy to breathe, and it heats you evenly from head to toe while encouraging a pleasant, abundant sweat.

02SAUNA

Ama no Kago Sauna

Men'sWomen's

A sauna that has been renovated from a mist sauna into an authentic Finnish-style sauna. By pouring water over the sauna stones, you can enjoy self-löyly, where high-temperature steam and a subtle woody aroma spread throughout the room. Even with its mild temperature design, the high humidity invites abundant perspiration and deep relaxation.

Cold BathCOLD BATH

01COLD BATH

Cold Bath

Men'sWomen's

A cold plunge bath located in the bath area that includes Ama no Iwato Sauna. With a pleasantly crisp chill, it gently envelops and tightens the body after you've warmed up in the sauna. It is spacious enough for you to relax while soaking up to your shoulders, offering a refreshing cooldown that leads naturally to a pleasant outdoor-air bath in the open-air area.
