About Ikaho Onsen Sakurai Ryokan

"Ikaho Onsen Sakurai Ryokan" is an onsen ryokan in Shibukawa, Gunma Prefecture, set on a quiet hillside a little way from the stone steps street. From the large public baths and open-air baths on the top sixth floor, the men's bath offers sweeping views of Mount Haruna and the Ikaho townscape, while the women's bath overlooks Mount Akagi and Maebashi City. The water used is the skin-friendly Silver Bath, rich in metasilicic acid. In 2023, Tsubaki no Yu was newly added, with three baths at different temperatures. The ryokan also features four private baths and rooms with open-air baths, allowing guests to enjoy a private soak at their leisure along with the magnificent scenery.

Large Public Bath Kikyo no Yu / Sakura no Yu

A large public bath on the top sixth floor, known for its panoramic views. From the men's Kikyo no Yu, guests can look out over Mount Haruna and the Ikaho townscape, while the women's Sakura no Yu offers a sweeping view of Mount Akagi and central Maebashi. Filled with the colorless, clear Silver Bath, which is rich in metasilicic acid and exceptionally smooth to the touch, this beauty bath helps leave the skin feeling soft and refined. Enjoy a liberating soak in a large tub while taking in the seasonal mountain scenery of Joshu.

Large Public Bath Tsubaki no Yu

A mixed-gender rotation bath newly opened in May 2023. This spacious, modern bathing area is equipped with three bathtubs at different temperatures, allowing guests to enjoy Silver Bath in whatever style suits them best, whether that means lingering in the water or refreshing themselves in a hotter bath. Gentle on the skin and easy on the body even during long soaks, this new healing bathhouse lets you warm up slowly and fully enjoy its skin-beautifying and fatigue-relieving benefits.

Private Baths Hanami, Tsukimi, Yumemi, and Hoshimi no Yu

Four private baths, each with a distinct atmosphere. Featuring options such as cypress-fragrant tubs and modern round stone tubs, all are supplied with Silver Bath. These luxurious, undisturbed spaces are ideal for a private hot spring date for couples, spouses, or families. They can also be used by day-trippers with advance reservations, making it easy to enjoy a peaceful soak while creating warm memories with someone special.
