Hotel Ofutei is a hot spring inn in Tomo-cho, Tomo, Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture (Tomo no Ura Onsen). Its pride and joy is the rooftop open-air observatory bath, Hoshi no Yu and Nami no Yu, where you can take in the calm seascape and sky of the Seto Inland Sea without anything blocking your view. The hot spring is a natural weak radioactive cold mineral spring with one of the highest radium contents in Japan. In March 2023, the sauna in the large public bath was completely renovated, and an authentic löyly sauna and steam sauna were newly added. There are also private open-air baths and rooms with semi open-air baths that let you enjoy the spectacular views of the Seto Inland Sea all to yourself, offering an exquisite resort stay.

The intense heat from real löyly gently envelops your whole body and promotes refreshing perspiration. In the softly lit space, you can spend a blissful time of totonou and relieve the fatigue of everyday life.
A gentle-temperature steam sauna newly installed in March 2023, allowing you to warm up gradually and comfortably. Fine mist-like heat and steam softly envelop the whole body, encouraging pleasant sweating without strain. It is expected to have skin-beautifying and relaxation benefits, and is recommended for people who do not like hot saunas and for women as well. You can relax deeply in both body and mind in the calm atmosphere.
