About Kokumin Shukusha Ojo

"Kokumin Shukusha Ojo" is an inn in Kasadojima, Kudamatsu City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. Its standout appeal is the superb location overlooking Kasado Bay on the Seto Inland Sea. At Ojo Onsen, Shiosai no Yu, you can enjoy an infinity open-air bath that makes you feel at one with the sea, a stone bath, and a skin-friendly outdoor carbonated spring on a rotating daily schedule. It also features a full-scale dry sauna where you can work up a good sweat in a spacious setting, along with a refreshing cold plunge bath. After bathing, you can enjoy seafood-focused dishes at the observation restaurant or relax in rooms with ocean views, taking in the magnificent scenery of Kasadojima for the ultimate healing experience.

Hot SpringONSEN

Ojo Onsen Shiosai no Yu

A natural hot spring with panoramic views of Kasado Bay. This chloride spring containing sodium and calcium has an extremely high heat-retention effect and warms the body thoroughly from the core. The men's and women's large baths alternate daily, and feature an open-air infinity bath that makes you feel as if you are one with the sea, as well as an atmospheric open-air stone bath. You can spend a luxurious moment soaking in the water while wrapped in the sea breeze. It is also highly effective for relieving neuralgia, improving sensitivity to cold, and recovering from fatigue.

Outdoor Carbonated Spring

A luxurious carbonated spring set in the open-air area. Carbon dioxide dissolved in the water is absorbed through the skin, widening blood vessels and dramatically improving circulation. Because the water is set at a lukewarm temperature, you can enjoy a long soak while gazing at the magnificent scenery of the Seto Inland Sea. It also helps refine the skin's texture, while the sea breeze and fine bubbles from the carbonated water gently soothe both body and mind.

Dry Sauna

Men'sWomen's

A full-scale dry sauna installed in each of the men's and women's large baths. The spacious, clean sauna room is filled with gentle, comforting heat that softly eases away everyday fatigue and tension. Heat waves from the stove wrap around your whole body and encourage pleasant sweating in a short time. The calm atmosphere of the room, with the warmth of wood, further enhances the relaxation effect and helps prepare both body and mind for the hot spring and the cool-down afterward.

Cold Bath

Men'sWomen's

A compact cold plunge bath located right next to the sauna room. It is filled with crisp, cold tap water, making it ideal for quickly cooling the body after sauna use. The moment you step in, the intense cold sensation provides a refreshing experience that tightens the surface of the body. Since the large bath faces the Seto Inland Sea, after the cold bath you can step out to the open-air area and fully enjoy outdoor cooling and rest time while listening to the calm sound of the waves and feeling the refreshing sea breeze.
