About Shunkei Roman Ginpaso

A long-established luxury onsen ryokan with over 70 years of history, set in an outstanding location right in front of Nishiura Onsen Palm Beach. It prides itself on sweeping, unobstructed panoramic views, and at the large bathhouses Kosa no Yu and Fuzumi no Yu, which draw from the skin-friendly natural hot spring Bihaisen, guests can enjoy superb onsen while gazing out over Mikawa Bay and the Atsumi Peninsula. The men’s large bath features a full-fledged dry sauna with the scent of wood and a cold plunge bath, with a large window overlooking the sea, while the women’s large bath is equipped with an aroma mist sauna that helps moisturize the skin. The top-floor private open-air baths Tsuki and Hoshi, both offering spectacular views, are also extremely popular.

Hot SpringONSEN

Large bath Bihaisen

The large bathhouses Kosa no Yu and Fuzumi no Yu are located at the tip of the Nishiura Peninsula, which extends into Mikawa Bay, and offer sweeping views of the calm sea. They use the natural hot spring Bihaisen, a very rare alkaline simple spring in a coastal area with low salt and calcium content, making it an extremely gentle, smooth skin-beautifying bath. Guests can enjoy a luxurious soak in spacious indoor baths, scenic open-air baths with a pleasant sea breeze, jacuzzis, and more. *The private open-air baths and in-room open-air baths are not hot springs.

Private open-air bath

Two panoramic private open-air baths, Tsuki and Hoshi, located on the top floor of the hotel (9th floor), where you can fully enjoy a private spectacular view. The sweeping panorama of Mikawa Bay right before you, the Atsumi Peninsula across the water, the bright red sunset sinking below the horizon, and at night a sky full of sparkling stars can all be enjoyed in complete privacy with only your family or other loved ones, making this the ultimate space for an unhurried escape.

Most of what we surveyed never even made it onto this site. This book is a further cut from what did. Our editor bathed in every onsen and sauna in it, and wrote only what they confirmed on the ground.
