About Atami Izusan Karaku
"Atami Izusan Karaku" is a ryokan in Atami, Shizuoka Prefecture, where every room comes with a hot spring open-air bath. On the 7th-floor panoramic large public bath, an infinity open-air bath stretches out so that the water’s surface feels continuous with Sagami Bay, letting you monopolize a daytime seascape that sparkles in the sun and a nighttime surface that shimmers in the moonlight. The spring water contains sulfate and chloride, and its soft feel leaves your skin smooth and refined. After bathing, you can also spend time clearing your mind and body in the sauna and cold plunge bath provided separately for men and women. A panoramic large public bath located on the 7th floor. Step outside from the glass-walled indoor bath, and an infinity open-air bath awaits, where the water’s surface seems to overlap seamlessly with Sagami Bay. The spring water, containing sulfate and chloride, is mellow and soft, leaving your skin smooth while keeping you warm for a long time after bathing. By day, the sea stretches out glittering in the light; by night, the water surface ripples in the moonlight. As the scenery changes from moment to moment, even your sense of time begins to melt away.
Open-Air Bath in Guest Room
A private hot spring open-air bath set on the balcony of every guest room. You can soak whenever you like, for as long as you like, without worrying about anyone else's eyes. Below you, Sagami Bay spreads out, and while immersed in the bath you can have the light rising from the horizon in the morning and the sea surface reflecting the moon at night all to yourself. On the balcony, where only the sound of the waves reaches you, the time of your journey deepens quietly.

Smoke Sauna
A smoke sauna installed in the large public baths for both men and women. Inside the wood-wrapped room, a faint aroma reminiscent of smoked wood drifts through the air, and the moment the door closes, the outside world seems to recede. It is equipped with auto löyly, and the gentle, rounded heat slowly sinks deep into the body.
Dry Sauna
A dry sauna adjoining the men's large public bath. The dry heat reaches the skin directly, and as you sit upright, sweat begins to stream out endlessly. In the quiet wood-lined room, there is no unnecessary sound, only your own breathing. At this inn far removed from everyday life, it is a time when you can focus solely on facing the heat.
Steam Sauna
A steam sauna adjoining the women's large public bath. Fine steam fills the room in white, enveloping the skin in moisture while slowly delivering heat to the core of the body. With its gentle warmth that never feels stifling, you can remain in it for a long time without worrying about your hair or skin drying out. As the sweat quietly begins to bead, stiffness gradually eases away.
