The large public bath, "Hazukuri no Yu," is equipped with a full-fledged dry sauna overlooking a magnificent view of the Tanigawa mountain range from the windows, along with a refreshing cold plunge bath. "Tamabuki no Yu" features an aromatic mist sauna that leads you to a premium totonou experience.

Hot Spring & Bath Information

Large Public Bath Hazukuri no Yu

TypeNatural Hot Spring

A full-scale wooden bath made with abundant use of cypress. The indoor bath holds Kogane no Yu, a brownish spring beloved as the "fertility spring" because it warms you to the core, while the atmospheric open-air bath overlooking the garden uses the gentle and clear Shirogane no Yu. The biggest appeal is that you can luxuriantly enjoy two completely different spring qualities at once, one indoors and one outdoors. After bathing, you can feel your skin becoming moist, smooth, and hydrated.

Large Public Bath Tamabuki no Yu

TypeNatural Hot Spring

A large public bath with a rustic, natural feel, decorated with large stones. Here, the indoor bath uses the mild Shirogane no Yu, which gently warms the body with little irritation, while the atmospheric open-air bath, where the natural breeze flows in pleasantly, is luxuriously supplied with the slightly cloudy Kogane no Yu. Because the baths alternate by gender, you can visit all the tubs together with Hazukuri no Yu. Immerse yourself to your heart's content in the elegant atmosphere of a traditional Japanese hot spring and enjoy an exceptional moment.

Private Rock Baths Koharubiyori and Akari

TypeNatural Hot Spring

Flow-through

Two luxurious private baths where only one group at a time can enjoy a private soak. In Koharubiyori, an indoor-style bath, you can exclusively enjoy 100% natural Kogane no Yu with free-flowing spring water straight from the source, a precious Ikaho spring passed down from long ago. In the newly added Akari, you can enjoy a semi-open-air bath filled with Shirogane no Yu. Without worrying about anyone else around you, couples, friends, or families can relax and chat while savoring fresh famed hot spring water and a luxurious private time.
