Gohousou

A luxurious highland hot spring and Finnish sauna inn with 100% natural free-flowing hot spring water from its own source and the three great skin-beautifying spring qualities

Fukushima Nishigo Village

"Shin-Kashi Onsen Gohousou" is a highland hot spring ryokan in the great outdoors, surrounded by pristine beech and mizunara virgin forest at an elevation of 800 meters inside Nikko National Park. The inn's greatest pride is its 100% pure, freshly flowing natural hot spring water drawn directly from its own source, with no dilution, heating, or circulation filtration whatsoever. The water generously contains the three great skin-beautifying spring qualities: bicarbonate spring, sulfate spring, and chloride spring, creating an exceptional beauty bath that leaves your skin silky smooth and moisturized after bathing. In the open-air rock bath facing the virgin forest and the refreshing indoor bath scented with hinoki, you can enjoy a soak while feeling close to the murmuring of nature and birdsong. The large public bath also features a Finnish sauna and a cold plunge bath, allowing you to refresh yourself while taking in the highland breeze.
