"Cerulean Resort AONI" is one of the largest hot spring inns in Tazawako Mizusawa Onsenkyo in Senboku City, Akita Prefecture. It prides itself on a natural hot spring with 100% free-flowing spring water, rich in the beauty mineral metasilicic acid, with sulfur and yunohana beautifully dancing in the water. The large public baths, Hosen no Yu and Shuusen no Yu, were equipped with a brand-new sauna in the open-air bath area in January 2025, and it supports self-löyly. While taking in the grand natural scenery, a sky full of stars, and snow-covered white landscapes from the open-air area, guests can enjoy an exceptionally cold cold plunge bath and superb outdoor air bathing.

The hot spring is 100% free-flowing water from the Mizusawa source, with yunohana beautifully drifting in the water. It contains an exceptionally rich amount of the beauty ingredient metasilicic acid, and its smooth, silky texture wraps both body and mind in what is truly an ultimate beauty hot spring.

A large public bath with a chic, refined indoor bath based on black tones, leading across a small bridge to an atmospheric open-air bath. A number of private baths in the adjacent Aoniyama-so can be used for an additional fee and with advance reservation. Among them are Komakusa no Yu, a barrier-free large public bath with onsen tatami that stays warm underfoot even in winter, and Katano no Yu, where you can open the windows wide and enjoy the scent of wood while feeling as if you were in an open-air bath, offering the luxury of privately enjoying a famed hot spring.

A self-löyly sauna installed in the open-air area of the large public bath. It features an airlock vestibule with two doors, providing a highly authentic design that retains stable heat even in the cold mountain air. Pouring water on the stones creates a refreshing wave of heat, and although the temperature is mild, it warms the entire body thoroughly and lets you work up an excellent sweat. It is a special space where you can refresh yourself in silence while looking out at the surrounding trees and nature.

An exceptional cold water bath located right next to the sauna in the open-air area. It uses plenty of icy natural water drawn from the foothills of Mt. Akita Komagatake. It offers a crisp, superb cooling sensation that instantly tightens your heated body. You can enjoy the pleasant floating sensation of becoming one with the water while feeling the refreshing breeze that passes through.
