About Shiraraso Grand Hotel

"Shiraraso Grand Hotel" is a hot spring hotel in Shirahama Town, Nishimuro District, Wakayama Prefecture, with a truly unique location just a 30-second walk from Shirarahama, famous for its beautiful white sand. The public bath area features two distinct superb bath spaces. On the second floor, "Chobo no Yu Shiokaze" offers a spectacular open-air bath with an overwhelming sense of unity between the sea and the sky. On the first floor, "Isobeno Yu Matsukaze" lets you enjoy a tasteful semi-open-air bath and a stone bath while feeling the sea breeze and the sound of the surf up close. Drawing from the historic private spring of Shirahama Onsen, one of Japan's Three Oldest Hot Springs, known as "Saginu-yu," it gently eases the fatigue of travel with its excellent heat-retaining effects. It also offers a private family bath for those who want to spend time in privacy for an additional fee.

Hot SpringONSEN

Public Bath "Chobo no Yu Shiokaze"

This bath space is proud of its open, spectacular open-air bath, which overlooks the beautiful Shirarahama and offers a perfect sense of unity with the sea and sky. It draws water from "Saginu-yu," the spring of Shirahama Onsen, one of Japan's Three Oldest Hot Springs, and its abundant salt and minerals gently envelop the skin. At night, you can enjoy an extraordinary bathing experience in a magical atmosphere, surrounded by moonlit waves and the quiet sound of the surf.

Public Bath "Isobeno Yu Matsukaze"

The closest open-air bath to the sea, where the sound of the waves and the refreshing sea breeze are soothing, along with a refined semi-open-air bath built with stone. Thanks to the rich benefits of the weakly alkaline, hypertonic spring water of "Saginu-yu," a salt film forms on the surface of the body after bathing, helping prevent moisture loss and providing excellent heat-retaining and skin-moisturizing effects. You can gently unwind from the fatigue of your trip while listening to the pleasant sound of the surf up close.

Private Family Bath

A luxurious private bath where families and couples can fully enjoy Shirahama Onsen's "Saginu-yu" in privacy and without concern. Its weakly alkaline spring quality leaves the skin smooth and supple, and it is known for helping you stay warm after bathing. You can leisurely experience this famous hot spring without worrying about those around you. (Reception at the front desk on the day, first come, first served, fee required)
