"Kagasuke no Yado" is a hot spring inn in Oshuku Onsen in Shizukuishi Town, Iwate District, Iwate Prefecture, filled with the magical warmth of bamboo lights. In the 6th-floor panoramic large bath, you can enjoy a luxurious alkaline simple spring in its "100% pure natural flowing spring" form, with no heating, no added water, no circulation, and no disinfection at all. The marble bath and the Japanese-style cypress bath are available on alternating days for men and women, and next to the marble bath, there is a dry sauna with a strong, very hot setting and a self-service cold plunge bath that can be filled to your preferred temperature.

Our signature large bath, fed luxuriously with 100% pure natural flowing spring water from the historic Oshuku Onsen vein, with no added water, no heating, and no circulation filtration whatsoever. The alkaline simple spring water is cherished as a skin-beautifying bath that is less likely to leave you chilled after bathing and offers excellent moisturizing benefits, and the tub is gracefully filled with spring sediments, a hallmark of natural hot springs. There is a marble bath and a Japanese-style bath with the warmth of cypress, and from the 6th-floor panoramic windows you can admire the seasonal beauty of satoyama greenery, autumn leaves, and more while enjoying an exquisite soak.
