Aonone

A modern luxury retreat with tatami flooring throughout, a view sauna and hot spring overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Matsukawaura

Fukushima Soma City

"Sora to Umi no Kakurega Aonone-kanon-" is a luxurious, modern onsen ryokan with tatami flooring throughout, born from a large-scale renovation of a former hot spring inn in Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture. The inn's pride and joy is its large bath, which makes lavish use of the natural hot spring Eino-yu (sodium-calcium chloride cold mineral spring), offering close-up views of the Pacific Ocean and the calm waters of Matsukawaura spread out before you. Guests can fully enjoy the natural hot spring in a variety of baths and temperatures, including hot, lukewarm, deep, and jet baths. The large bath area also features a high-temperature dry sauna with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and Matsukawaura through the windows, as well as a refreshing cold plunge bath. After your soak, you can experience the ultimate totonou moment on a deck chair in the open-air area, where the sea breeze feels wonderfully pleasant.
