About Gero Onsen Hotel Kusakabe Armeria

"Gero Onsen Hotel Kusakabe Armeria" is a large resort hotel on a hill overlooking the Gero Onsen hot spring town. From the total-hinoki observation open-air bath, Hanamizuki no Yu, on the 8th floor, you can take in a sweeping panoramic view of the area’s best scenery, with the hot spring town by day and the fantastical nightscape by night. On the 2nd floor, the kur type medium-sized bath, Yunomori, is equipped with a large indoor bath, jet baths, a compact sauna and cold plunge bath, and a mini open-air bath. You can fully enjoy the silky, lotion-like Bijin no Yu.

Hanamizuki no Yu Large Panoramic Open-Air Bath

A luxurious large panoramic open-air bath made entirely of hinoki cypress, located on the 8th floor of the hotel. It offers a breathtaking panoramic view said to be among the best in Gero Onsen, letting you overlook the beautiful daily life of the hot spring town below and, at night, the romantic nightscape of Gero. Soak in the superb hot spring water with its smooth, lotion-like texture and enjoy an exceptional bathing experience while taking in the fragrant aroma of the total-hinoki wood and the evening breeze.

Kur Cardinal Yunomori Indoor Bath

A medium-sized kur-style bath on the 2nd floor. In addition to a spacious main indoor bath, it is equipped with jet baths that gently massage the body and a mini open-air bath with a private feel. Filled with high-quality Gero Onsen source water known for its silky smoothness, it lets you fully enjoy a comfortable resort bathing experience through alternating use of the sauna, cold plunge bath, and baths.

Kur Cardinal Yunomori Sauna

A full-fledged dry sauna located inside the kur-style bath, Kur Cardinal Yunomori, on the 2nd floor. In a calm, woody space, the temperature is pleasantly high, thoroughly warming you from the inside while keeping the air easy to breathe. It is excellent for promoting perspiration, and when combined with the hot spring, it helps ease travel fatigue, stiff shoulders, and chills. Hours of use are from 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Kur Cardinal Yunomori Cold Plunge Bath

Men'sWomen's

A cold plunge bath installed right next to the dry sauna. It is ideal for cooling down after thoroughly warming your body in the sauna. Even though it uses tap water, the feel on the skin is refreshing, and its crisp coldness pleasantly envelops your heated body. Together with the jet baths and sauna, it allows for smooth hot-and-cold alternating bathing, bringing a deep sense of relaxation to both body and mind.
